Hero Gear Guide
1. Focus Your Upgrades
Prioritize your top 3 heroes: *
Concentrate all mithril and essence stones on your three strongest heroes. Avoid spreading these valuable resources across many heroes.
No unnecessary upgrades: *
Do not upgrade gear on heroes outside your main three, except for temporary XP use if your top three are already maxed.
2. Gear Swapping and Hero Rotation
Always equip your best gear on your strongest heroes: *
As new, stronger heroes are acquired (especially with new generations), transfer your best-upgraded gear sets to them.
Reset and reallocate: *
If you have upgraded gear on heroes who are no longer in your top three, reset their gear and invest those resources back into your current main heroes.
3. Which Gear to Upgrade
Infantry: Focus on upgrading gloves and belt for health.
Marksman: Prioritize goggles and boots for lethality.
Lancer: Also prioritize goggles and boots for lethality.
Avoid over-investing in less effective pieces: For example, do not heavily upgrade infantry goggles and boots—keep them at a moderate level (e.g., level 100) and focus on the more impactful pieces.
4. Stat Prioritization
Health over lethality for infantry: High lethality stats do not necessarily translate to better performance for infantry. Health is more impactful for survivability and overall effectiveness.
Lethality for marksman and lancer: These troop types benefit more from lethality upgrades on their key gear pieces.
Lancer: Also prioritize goggles and boots for lethality.
Avoid over-investing in less effective pieces: For example, do not heavily upgrade infantry goggles and boots—keep them at a moderate level (e.g., level 100) and focus on the more impactful pieces.

5. Order of Upgrade Priority
- Marksman Lethality
- Infantry Health
- Lancer Lethality
Infantry is generally the most important troop type to invest in, followed by marksman and lancer.
6. Other Common Strategies
- Top 3 vs. Top 5 or 9:
While some players equip gear for their top 5 or 9 heroes (for modes like arena or canyon), focusing on your top 3 is always the best option. - Mistakes are okay: If you have already upgraded gear on less relevant heroes, just focus on making better choices moving forward.
7. General Tips
- Research and adapt:
Especially for free-to-play (F2P) players, researching best practices and adapting your strategy is key to staying competitive. - Ask for advice: Don’t hesitate to seek guidance from experienced players if you’re unsure about what to upgrade or buy.
