How to Score Better in Bear Trap?
Setting Formations
If you have 6 marches, you must save 7 formations using custom heroes and troop percentages.
To set formations, click your profile photo in the top left of the game screen, then “Troops” at the bottom of your profile view. Then, click “Squads” at the bottom of the screen. This will take you to a screen that looks nearly identical to the screen you use to deploy troops, but instead of “Deploy” in the bottom right, it will say “Save” – this is how you save custom settings for convenient and consistent marches during events!

Heroes
You only need ONE of these heroes in each march as the leader in the first slot. The other heroes will not matter when joining other rallies, just fill the openings with your strongest available heroes (preferably not adding more than one of the heroes on the list below to a single march). These heroes not only boost your score but everyone in the rally’s scores as well.
Heroes that provide substantial and direct Troops Attack or Damage increase for all troops.
[S1] Jessie (Lancer)
– Increasing damage dealt by 5%/10%/15%/20%/25% for all troops.
[S1] Jasser (Marksman)
– Increasing damage dealt by 5%/10%/15%/20%/25% for all troops.
[S1] Seo-yoon (Marksman)
– Increasing Troops Attack by 5%/10%/15%/20%/25%.
[S1] Jeronimo (Infantry)
– Increasing damage dealt by 5%/10%/15%/20%/25% for all troops.
[S4] Reina (Lancer)
– Increasing normal attack damage by 10%/15%/20%/25%/30% for all troops.
[S5] Gwen (Marksman)
– Increasing target’s Damage Taken by 5%/10%/15%/20%/25%.
[S7] Bradley (Marksman)
– Increasing Attack by 5/10/15/20/25% for all troops.
[S8] Sonya (Lancer)
– Increasing damage by 4%/8%/12%/16%/20% for all troops.
[S9] Magnus (Infantry)
– Increasing Troops Attack by 5%/10%/15%/20%/25%.
[S10] Blanchette (Marksman)
– Increasing all Troops Lethality by 5%/10%/15%/20%/25%.
[S11] Rufus (Marksman)
– Increasing Troops Attack by 5%/10%/15%/20%/25%.
[S12] Hervor (Infantry)
– Increasing all Troops Lethality by 5%/10%/15%/20%/25%.
IMPORTANT:
This list assumes all heroes are fully upgraded to the maximum level. A fully maximized Jessie will always be better than a one star Jeronimo. If you are not sure what heroes to use, check the level of the first expedition skill (on the right). Still not sure? Message an R4 for help.

MAIN RALLY FORM
Formation 1:
This is your strongest march. This will be the march you use to open your own rally during bear trap.
• Hector + Blanchette + Mia
• Hector + Bradley + Mia
Formations 2-6:
These are the marches you will use to join other players’ rallies. Only the first hero matters – the first hero’s skill bonus will be added to the rally as a whole.
S Tier Heroes are listed under the Heroes heading.
Recormended Troop Ratios
The unit ratio for marches should be
all marches to:
10% infantry,
10% spearmen,
80% marksmen.
Alternative Troop Ratio
If you don’t have enough marksmen,
only the first two marches to:
10% infantry,
20% spearmen,
70% marksmen.
